HDC3 & HDC4 Optimum Enclosure Size

So pretty much what has been recommended on their site for years then?

I had no idea they recommended different sizes for power and port area for two completely different woofers? Where is that at? :)
I also didn't know they recommended that. Hispls could you send us a link or something :)

old thread but i have 2 of the older hdc3's 12's and a sundown saz-2000d so 6 cubes net with 108 sq inches of port at 34 htz would be good ? will be in a s10 ext cab

You box volume is 5.2 meaning around 20.7cuft per cube, which is a little on the higher side especially if you following this post. I would suggest increasing the box size but keeping port area the same for that power

i built the box already should i put the motors out of box to keep space up ?

Yes that would work though it would be only an increase of like .2-.3 but its worth a try. Also if you do go that route don't forget to wire the subs in reverse.. So you can try both methods and see what sounds better to you.. How does your current box sound??
