Ok So I currently have a single 10" sub and I just got my box for my 12" its 1.50CF Tuned to 36hz I don't want to spend a ton of money on a sub arround $150 for a single 12". I have a Hifonics ZRX-1000.1D I know it won't do 1k rms. I was told it should do arround 700-800 RMS @ 1ohm.Someone suggested I get a soundqubed HDS-212 D2 and if I upgrade to a SQ-1200D Then get the HDS-312 D2. I also looked at a Audiopipe APCL1500.1 saw a video and it did arround 1450 on a amp dyno @1-ohm. This single 12" will be going in a EXT CAB Truck is there really a need for a amp that dose 1400rms for a daily driver? Also it has a 90 AMP ALT Its going bad and I can get a 130AMP alt for like $130 new.

In all reality you should be designing your box based on your sub selection. However considering you already have a box I would look at anything in the ssa store such as sa-12 or gcon.

AA mayhem 12" D2

Sundown ZV4 12" D1

Sundown 2000d @ 1 ohm

Well The box was free and its the max size I can fit. Now if need be I can make like a baffle and change it to fit 1 10" sub. but its still going to be around 700-800 RMS.

Considering your boxb (if that IS your maximum space available) i'd stick with your one ten.. Is your box ported or sealed?

Its ported tuned to 36hz

i would just re-baffle it to fit your 10.. But not sure if you want to go and build another box.

Just make sure to take in the added depth to make sure the enclosure fits..

If its a prefab double check net volume, port area and tuning. Prefabs ate usually off from a small amount to a big amount

singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
