SCbasshead92 Posted June 13, 2014 Report Posted June 13, 2014 I am wanting to get 2 set rockford p1675 (1 set for the front doors and 1 set for the rear doors) and a set rockford p1694 in my rear deck of my impala but I need help on learn how to run them a rockford p600x4 if its possible but im open to amp suggestions. First mids and high setup.
kirill007 Posted June 13, 2014 Report Posted June 13, 2014 Just lose the rear deck speakers they aren't doing anything for you. I would even say lose the rear door speakers since they don't do anything for you unless you have the front stage set up wrong. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
SCbasshead92 Posted June 13, 2014 Author Report Posted June 13, 2014 I've heard a setup similar to what im wanting to do so I wanna do it this way I just need to know how to wire it up

evermaxx Posted June 13, 2014 Report Posted June 13, 2014 Or run channel 3/4 at 2ohms?.. Team Subsonic Lows Get your garbage EMF products of my amp bitch Man....it makes a nice work bench
SCbasshead92 Posted June 13, 2014 Author Report Posted June 13, 2014 Robert8252 u yoyr see I need to run the rear door speakers to the rear deck speaker and evermaxx can you explain a little more to me
Robert8252 Posted June 13, 2014 Report Posted June 13, 2014 I would never do what you're doing but unless the speakers are identical you don't want to run them on the same amp channel. If all are the same then run the fronts on channel A & B and assuming it is 2ohm stable run both sets of rears on channels C & D. If different speakers in any way, shape, or forum, run two sets on the amp and the third off the head unit. 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff
Team Bassick - Kimo Posted June 13, 2014 Report Posted June 13, 2014 Wire the rear doors and rear deck speakers on the rear channel of the amp, left right accordingly. Use the front channel for the front speakers. The amp will see a 2 ohm load on the rear and a 4 ohm load on the front. Being the rear has a 2 ohm load the power output will be more than the front. Unless you put another pair of speakers in the front there is no way to get a 2 ohm load out of the front. Plus if the front speakers are components, you will want more power for them as the passive crossover tends to pick draw more power. Not to mention although the amp can handle a 2 ohm load stereo it will draw more power from the battery and run hotter (termparture). I suggest if you are wanting to run all 6 speakers to pick up another 4 channel. Use one for the front componets and bridged it down to a 2 channel. then use the second four channel as a four channel. Hopefully, you have enought outputs from your head unit to run front output to the front four channel (bridged to 2) and rear output to the rear four channel. Other wise, ditch the doors and just run the 6x9 and front speakers off the four channel. KIMO @teambassick http://www.teambassick.com
SCbasshead92 Posted June 13, 2014 Author Report Posted June 13, 2014 Ok cool now I got what your trying to say so I think im just goin to go with my first instinct and do a good component set for the fronts, forget the rear doors and do the 6x9s in the deck and run them on the rockford 600x4 it seem simpler to do thank guys for your input on my set cause my stock speakers were just getting murdered by my p3 15s.
