masonv6
Pretty much asking what the title says. The Q1-3500D says it puts out 4300w @ 1 ohm @ 14.4v. The Q1-2200D linked says it puts out 4400w @ 2 ohm @ 14.4 linked. To me it almost seems up in the air. I was hoping someone that knows a little more about these amps could help me out. I guess as a side question also, are the HDS300's more of a sq or are they just a dumbed down HDC3. If a guy were to run (2) HDS300 12's what amp or amps would you run? Thanks. OH and I'm looking to put this setup into my daily driver, Thanks again!
walwalka
For 2 HDC3's I would run a single 3500D. For the HDS300 a single 2200 will do. I would not put them on a 3500D 2010 Honda Civic LX / Deck: Kenwood DDX371 / Front Highs: Crescendo RTS-1 / Front Mids: Silver Flute 6.5's / 4 channel: DC Audio 90.4 / Sub: Fi 15in SP4v2 / Sub amp: Taramps HD 5000 / Power wire: Knukonceptz OFC 1/0 / Deadener: Audio Technix 60 mil / Batteries: XS Power D5100R / Rear bank: TBD / Alternator: Singer 240a hairpin

masonv6
Alright, also if you consider ohm rise should I wire these down to .5 ohm?
timc31610
I wouldnt't, box rise isnt constant and unless you have a dd1 or oscope to set gains the likelihood you will damage something to me outweighs the slight benefit. slowfkncar
1 ohm total will be fine on a q1.3500.1, actually, half ohm is too much. Even for my two 12" zv.3's. The amp is strong lol
