I just got the CTEK 7002 the other day. My first ever "smart" charger. It seems to be an outstanding charger. The only complaint I have is that the power cord and battery cables aren't detachable. As is, the cables have strain relief connections to the charger but they are still susceptible to wear and tear and when they fail they won't be easy to repair or replace. Detachable cables would be a welcome addition IMO.

How many batteries have y'all charged at the same time? I have 4 g31's and am wondering which would suit me best lol.

I have the second one and I love it, so far it's worked pretty well and has been pretty reliable. I've seen SnowDrifter talk about the ctek chargers and there was something about them that he said wasn't good. I think it had something to do with the desulphation mode on it.

the ctek 7002 could top off 4 g31 but if you fully drain the g31s then you would need a higher amperage charger. I personally own the 7002 ctek and love it

ive had the desulphation mode recover a 7 year old stock battery and it had been working for another year after i charged it back up.

My CTEK doesnt even enter desulphation mode.. NEVER has. I guess it senses that theres no need for it before it even goes into the mode. That, I dig :good:

But yea.. Thats the thing Chris didnt like.. That mode.. and understandably so.
