Checkin A Box's Cubes

Whats the most accuarate/easiest way to check a box's cubic feet? I'm new to the game and my friend tossed me 2 boxes for my 94' ranger ext cab, they were meant for 10's but he ~HORRIBLY~ cut them to fit a couple of old 12s he had, but the cubes are unknown, any info well appreciated. Thanks

h x w x l / 1728 will give you somethign to work with then minus port area

They are sealed, and wouldn't work accuarately since they aren't rectangular, they slope down on the backside

if the box is "traditional" LxWxH /1728 is your best bet. if its a truck box and has an awkward shape you have to approach it slightly different

ok , Wow, sorry, i've had these boxes sitting my garage for about 6 months now so, they arnt sealed as i thought, there is a flush 3" diameter PVC pipe, flush with the outside and then it runs about half way through the box

and it slopes with the sub port, not the back >_< my bad.

width of the box

and

length of the port

whoops, forgot that, 22" wide and and pipe goes in about 8inches, not including the wood

About 1.4 cu. ft. Tuned to around 36-37 Hz. I believe thats about right. If I'm wrong somebody correct me.
