  1. Here are two links on how to make your own RCA interconnects. The first one is on DIYMA and the second one is on Headfi.org
  2. When you use the brakes does the RPM of the engine drop or does it stall out? Also, have you noticed any oil spots after the truck sites overnight, or anywhere you park? And the engine light flashing is probably caused by the engine misfiring. As long as the motor is running, it shouldn't be spark plugs. When the truck is out of drive, does it rev to a high RPM like it should or does it only go up annd stop before hitting the rev limiter?
  3. If I remember correctly, there was a topic a couple of months back that talked about powermaster raising their prices $50. SO your probably not going to find the D3100 for less than $350.
  4. Yea the TI-83/84 would be fine. The TI-89 is better, but alot different, keys are layed out different. One big thing I know of on the 89 is that yo can do a 3-d style graph, if you want. But if you remember how to use the 83/84 go ahead and get the 83/84, because you'd have to relearn keystrokes on the 89. Also, the 83 was fine for my engineering classes this past year.
  5. I would continue to sand, even if you are going to cover it in something.
  6. What are you mainly going to use this laptop for? And what is your budget?
  7. Something like that would be fine. Because even if its not what you want to do down the road, there wasn't alot of money invested into it. Plus you don't need anything more to get started with.
  8. Maybe a few more details would help, what OS, what size power supply? Also, by having trouble booting up, do you mean sometimes it freezes during startup, or sometimes it just does nothing? EDIT- Very nice truck BTW
  9. Yea the timing chain is a bitch to replace on basically a "FWD" (referring to engine alignment in the bay) car. Like ominub said, pull the tire, inner fender cover thing, and possibly the strut, depending on where the engine sits. Then off comes all of the pulleys, and harmonic balancer, belt tensioner, and whatever else is in the way of the timing cover. Then you pull the cover. Thats most of the hard stuff, except putting it all back on.
  10. Awesome. Also I see that there were no problems with teh magnets holding the trim panel on. Good work.
  11. The stock alt runs at what, 120 amp? If so you probably do have a big drop in voltage, do any of your lights dim? And is that with the car off, idling, or at around 2000 RPM?
  12. So basically it will hit hard for a second then drop off, then it does it over and over?
  13. Yep, I'm definitely heading up there, only 15 minutes away. They usually have 20% off of everything, so i'm gonna pick up a few things.
  14. Yea most likely a vacuum leak. When you put it in gear and hit the breaks it pulls the idle of the engine down, creating less vacuum pressure(not enough to keep it running). Check out all the vacuum lines that you can easily get to, you may actually be able to hear the leak if its pulling in enough air. Also check missing caps on unused vacuum fittings, they sometimes crack and vibrate off.
  15. It sounds like its a vacuum leak. Does it stall out when you apply the brakes?
  16. Would you want a slot port or a round, flared port?
  17. What are the dimensions of that area, or what is the maximum area you want taken up.
  18. If your using firefox, go to TOOLS>OPTIONS>CONTENT> then check the box LOAD IMAGES AUTOMATICALLY if its not checked. After you do that, click the advanced button out to the right, and make sure google is not on that list.
  19. I got a 403 error trying to get on the forum earlier. It wouldn't load.
  20. Actually, atleast one cutscene is 90 minutes long. You can skip them if you want, and you can pause them if want to continue the cutscene later. But yea, its a huge ass game.
  21. There's a truck and SUV plant in south Dayton that is shutting down by 2010, that is one of the four plants shutting down, and it employees around 2500 people. Idon't know specifically what trucks and SUVS they make there either.
