I'm sure the box helped! prefab = crazy high tune. if his subsonic wasn't set a Lil below the 60hz tune the box has... well it would get way to much power at low hz causing bottoming out of the sub. along with the crazy hard clipping of a maxed out gain... And the dirty power the amp makes to begin with! turn gain down.turn up subsonic=problem solved.
