Should I be dropping this low?

Crescendo 3500 @.5

D6500 up front

2 D3100 in the back

Singer 270a

Big 3

CT OFC wire

So im kinda bumped out.. I was dropping to about 12.6 at full tilt so I decided to get another 3100 in the back.

I put in the new 3100 in today, and im still dropping till about 12.9.. Batterys were all freshly charged today.

I would like to stay in high - mid 13s.. and I thought this would be able to make it stay around there..

Can there be something im doing wrong?

Batteries are only going to be useful once voltage drops to around 12.9 or so. Nothing will keep you above 12.9 in your setup besides a bigger alt.

Well.... kinda screwed since 270 is the biggest they make for my alt.. and no dual alt bracket available for my car.

You're not screwed. High 12's is perfectly acceptable.

Just means you're getting a lot of power out of that amp. I ran a DC3.5k on a DC270XP, XS D3400 and a small battery in the trunk and barely hit mid 13s. Rise was crazy though around 3-5ohms.
