medwards420
I know they are rated @ 400 a piece but is this amp to much for them @2ohms
BigManAC
On their website it says they are rated at 500wrms and the amp (if its the DXA1000.1) says it will do 1000 wrms at 2 ohms so if your final ohm load is 2 ohms at the amp then you should be fine judging by the manufacturers ratings. BigManAC
Well if the specs are the same then you should be fine. Just make sure to set the gains properly and you shouldn't have any problems. 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw

Joe X
Then it would be about 500W a piece wired to 2 ohm final load, as long as you have engaged your amp subsonic filter the subs will take the power.
medwards420
running sealed, dont need the subsonic filter
Joe X
Subsonic filter saves you energy either way, is not only for mechanical control. Also kicker in sealed... only if you are lacking space. Anyways your gear will work together just fine, best of luck.
