Anyone Have Experience With Atomic Ele ?

i boubt your 12 even with the 1k rms more will be louder then the 18, and if it is then the installation of the 18 is in question.

So you end up with roughly 1/4 the cone area and not even double the power? All maths point towards you being A LOT of db down, assuming everything else to be equal. I know there's enormous differences in reality, but the BL and ELE just aren't different enough that you're going to see the same numbers from a 12 compared to an 18. 2x power = +3dB, 2x cone area = +3dB (in theory)

So you went +3db for power and -6dB for cone area, so you're 3dB down out of the box ;/

as stated before if its louder then the 18 you had a horrible 18 install
