Motorboat KER
Got bored. Had wood Had some speakers and shit Speaker connections are going through a 8 gauge ring terminal -> bolt ->wood -> another ring terminal -> speaker. Used some titebond and some "sealing tape". Speaker holes cut... Yes that is a C12a from 1996 Fancy instagram filter: Decided I wanted to paint it instead... Used a offbrand plastidip Total everything should draw like 450w RMS. I wouldn't mind getting a cheapish receiver since this is not a professional set up. Any suggestions?

The box was my first attempt and it will be replaces soonish. Just wanted to test my new saws lol. And @cablguy i have seen multiple people use this tape in builds and it didn't add sound

And @cablguy i have seen multiple people use this tape in builds and it didn't add sound yes thats what they are rated for. they dont pull that wattage. they take watever wattage your amplifier puts out. the 300 rms and 75 rms are their max safe ratings. other wise they will burn up the voice coils if too much power is used. also i under stand its your first box and wanted to use your saw. but why not take 10 minutes with a ruler to mark the center of your circles. and use a compass to trace an outline. practice makes perfect. do you want to practice to do the right way or practice to do the wrong way. just a suggestion! Your just a nice guy. How could anyone possibly look at that and say it looks great?????? No offense and its good that you're trying to do things on your own but damn. If your gonna make a thread and put yourself out there on the internet at least center your speakers. Just keep at it man and each time will get better and better. Take your time and you will be much happier in the end. 2012 F250 Lariat 6.7, lifted on 22's and 35's 4 DSS Ethos 18's walled tuned low 2 Ampere Audio 7500.1's, Ampere 125.4 Rockford Pro Audio front stage 9 batteries, Mechman Elite 370 alt Team DSS, Team Ampere Audio 2014 Meca Mod 3 TN State champ / 3rd place Mod 3 World Finals
Motorboat KER
Thanks for the feedback guys! I'm gonna "chop the top" and redo the alpine holes. The tweeters in the middle of the alpines stick out past the mounting surface so i t is a little hard to trace the outline and line it up. Any method I can use? Any method I can use? if it were me. id measure out a circle of the smallest side of the speaker. then id get a piece of cardboard cut a hole out for magnet then youll have the exact cutout when you drop speaker in.
