sphinxbccp Posted July 30, 2014 Report Posted July 30, 2014 So as many of you know (if your following my blazer build) I got a daily driver a while ago... 07 Chevy Colorado, 2dr, 2wd base model Well I finally got almost everything to put a small system in Alpine cde-123 head unit, alpine mrp-f300 4channel, Polk momo 6x9s, polk mm 6.5s, install accesories , all from my buddy Nate Sub's from purple haze, these things look awesome!! Alpine mrx-x110 from sierra mist Ran power, rca, remote and new speaker wire Had some knu 0ga left over Had some sheets of second skin laying around, decide to do a very light coverage (~25%) it made a HUGE difference for being such a small amount For a temporary set up till I got everything for sub's I put the 4 channel and the momos on quick plates to hold them in place I also got some Polk mm 6.5s for the front doors that I didn't get pictures of, I needed something without alot of depth and they work great! Now on to the box, I'm wanting to try and port it, maybe aero ports (I've never used them) Something like this (I'm not good with sketch up.. Lol) There's a hump behind the seat I'll have to fiberglass around Now the measurements I have to work with are ~ 51.5" wide, ~ 18" tall (I can go taller if necessary) and ~ 11" deep on the bottom and ~ 6" deep on the top Anyone have suggestions for the box? Ports? CAN I go ported? Or should I just go sealed and call it a day? I'm hoping to work on this soon, then I can get back to the blazer! All help/input is appreciated! boom50cal Posted July 30, 2014 Report Posted July 30, 2014 Do passenger side B-pillar ports! From regular cab experience, best way to do it! Nice little truck, always liked them. On 1/4/2013 at 9:31 PM, HatersGonnaHate said: Wow. 184 posts and I think you're a fucking asshole.
