Question about running 1 sub and 4 interiors off of 4 channel amp

First off, I'm not sure if this is in the right section but if not please move it admins.

I am running a crescendo 1100.4 to Image Dynamics CXS 6.5 2 ohm components in the front and Image Dynamics 6x9 CTX 4 ohm coaxials in the rear. My original plan was just to run the interiors and use the midbass from the rears because that's what I did with my old 2001 malibu and that was enough for me. Unfortunately in my new 2012 malibu I don't get that same bass reproduction out of the rear speakers.

So what I wanted to do was run both the front and rear speakers off of the front channel and run a single 12" Eminent Audio D4 at 2 ohm bridged off of the rear channel. What kind of issue could running all of the interiors off of the front channel cause? I would run just the front speakers but I don't think they would be loud enough and I would like to have a full effect with all 4 interiors.

I know this kind of seems like a noon question so don't tear me apart please, I would rather ask and save equipment than try it and blow something.

Also, does anyone know if the 2012 Malibu's come with factory amps? It's just a base model no upgraded sound system but it had components in the front and you could turn the stock radio all the way up with no distortion. The guys who installed it said there was no stock amplifier.

Thanks in advance everyone!

Well, first you would need to make sure they can all be wired without going to low of a ohm rating, and that they are receiving the right amount of power when doing that. Along with that, you will loose and ability in songs where music faded from front to back(if there is some). I would suggest just getting a monoblock for the sub, seeing as that's what they are made for.

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha

Just lose the rear speakers. A properly setup sound quality car doesn't have rear speakers. You'd never get equal volume from your front/rear speakers anyway because of the different ohm load.

I had figured getting rid of the rear was going to be the suggestion lol. I wasn't really looking to go all out with this setup which is why I had just considered the 4 channel with the 6x9's for some added bass but I don't really get much out of them. Songs fading from front to rear wouldn't really bother me either

Well you don't get 6x9's for bass, nor any door speaker for that matter. If you want bass, you need a driver made to deliver bass. Ditch the rear speakers and put the sub on the rear channel. I have rear speakers to go in my car right now, I only have them because I got them cheap and frequently go on cruises jamming with people in the back. So I want you to be able to hear the music in the back instead of just bass. However right now when sitting in the front it sounds great without them in the back. You'll be fine like that too.

Well like I had said, with my old car I got enough bass from the 6x9's to make me happy, from these I barely get anything and the amp is on Full Pass. I wasn't expecting car shaking bass from 6x9's lol

I get ya, but try what we suggested, it should work fine for what your asking.
