boostin302
81 aH total. go with one battery to reach it or go with 3 27aH batteries to reach it? either way, its a second battery system and is being placed under the box and will be 3 ft or less from the amps. (im concered that a big 81aH battery wont fit without modding the floor) any advantages or disadvantages of the way choosen? Thanks (in advance) for the help! hdorre
Here's some food for thought.. Even if you have 8 physical batteries in the rear, it still acts as one huge battery if adequate wiring is used. I'd look beyond the ampere hour rating. Omega5002
Here's the advantage of using multiple batteries over a single battery, even if the ah is the same- Easier to fit/spread- With multiple batteries wired in parallel, you add up the discharge amperage. Cons- Might not be able to get in certain classes if you compete in SPL- More expensive(usually)- More batteries to maintain 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)
