voxigenboy
The system in my car was installed a few years ago(components in doors, 2 subs & 2 amps). Never had problems a side from a fuse blowing every now & then. Eventually the components died & I had a local shop replace them. A few months later, the speakers on the passenger side of the car would cut in & out w/ some occasional crazy static. Last month I took it to yet another local shop to have them fix it. Now the same thing is happening again, but to the speakers on the drivers side. I have no clue how to work on any of this stuff myself(nor the tools) but am tempted to just tinker with it myself. Anyone have any advice on what to do? Or know of anyone in North San Diego county who knows what they're doing and can do it right once & for all? Btw, the speakers, subs & amps are all good(issue has to be with wiring)
SIDE SHOW
i'd say the rca's are coming loose from the back of the deck or amp....... make sure you have hpf and lpf turned on either on the amps or on the headunit.
