my 4th in a explorer on 3000 rms did 153 at the kick and 151+ sealed on dash.

your box looks very similar to mine only difference is mine is 4th with 4 15's and your doing 6th with 2 15's. from what I know 6th orders move a lot more air so hair tricking should be good. do you have the ampere audio 7500.1?

my wall is only 2 layers of .75 mdf and with the bracing, I have not had any problems at all for the last couple years of banging on it. but I will say that the weight of the MDF will be hell on the wheel bearings. I weighed mine at a FS and was right at Gross vehicle weight.

No I don't have the 7500 either. Probably not going that route. There's a used ct sounds 7k going for 900 I'm gonna buy, will be at 1 ohm at first and then in the future when I can upgrade the electrical and buy another they'll be at .5, one on each sub. I hope it's windy... hoping low 50s on music with 1 7k but might be hoping for too much

More updates today, cut some baffles and used a router for the first time today, I'll never use a jigsaw for circles again...

Duuude what do you have planned for bracing? It needs to be STRONG. Are all those walls just double layered .75 MDF?

The top bottom back and sides are double layered, loading wall triple layered. Baffle will be triple with threaded rod, sides and back will be lined with 2x4s. Idk how I'm gonna brace the top and bottom yet. Also gonna fiberglass the joints but that's mainly to seal it up. Any other suggestions?

My front port kinda has me nervous cause it's 255 sq in but on paper is tuned to like 44 I think. Idk how it'll be affected in the car sealed off but I feel like that's really low lol

I know mrd6 says his tuning went up so I'm hoping mine does too cause if I shrink my port a decent amount my front chamber will be tuned in the 30s lol

Tomorrow I'll fiberglass to seal up and gaps and then cut the pieces for the rear port, put it in and probably put the back on. Next after that will be bracing. I haven't gotten a tracking number for the sub motors but I'm hoping they come Monday - Wednesday. Also gonna pick up a few xp3000s this week and get my rockford 1000x2 fixed so my doors can be loud again lol
