Sid420 Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 When I turn my car on my subs will pop twice but I have the amp all the way down and the hu all the way down. I checked my rcas and everything but nothing seems to be different then my last system which is using the same wires and they never popped. Help please
Weigel21 Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 What is the vehicle? Is it the 96' accord in your sig? Are you running the OEM stereo?
Sid420 Posted August 24, 2014 Author Report Posted August 24, 2014 Yeah 96 accord. Aftermarket head unit
Sid420 Posted August 24, 2014 Author Report Posted August 24, 2014 So I unplugged my rcas and they are still popping. Could my remote wire be doing this or is it my speaker wires?

Sid420 Posted August 24, 2014 Author Report Posted August 24, 2014 The radio is on but turned all the way down.
Weigel21 Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 What is the HU in question? And the model of the amplifier?
Weigel21 Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 Turn-on/off pop is sometimes due to there being no turn-on delay from the radio or soft turn-on circuit in the amplifier. There are aftermarket delay's you can buy, IF this happens to be the issue.
Sid420 Posted August 24, 2014 Author Report Posted August 24, 2014 Hu is a Kenwood kdc x497 and amp is soundstream ta1.2000d. It constly pops twice about every 20 seconds or so.
