BigPimpin91
BL's. You could also try DC woofers. *Non-experienced user speaking.* Quote BigPimpin91's Banging Music

spl explorer
I've heard great things about the type x woofers.. Really? I have heard nothing but bad from the Type Xs. Fi's got my vote of course. tejcurrent
I've owned a type-x 12 for 3 years or so, and it is a pretty nice woofer. Very sexy looking imo. Even still- my brother has a 12" BL, and I really wish I could swap them out. If you're looking for nice SQ the type-x sealed sounds very good. But ported the BL sounds about the same, and gets much louder. The type-x doesn't seem to do as well with overpowering either. Just my experience. AI James
the Alpine X imo sounds ALOT better then a BL, but the output is lacking tremendously compared to the BL.
littleitaly1990
no extreme lead....get full cooling if you are putting more than 11-1200 watts to it. Quote A vitrolic, megalomaniacal sadistic psychopath.
