Karkov
Mechman uses smaller pulley than stock alt so there is a chance for slippage? Story: I have the 5.3l engine. Got a Mechman 370 in factory spot and it has slightly smaller pulley to spin faster than stock. Got the DC Power dual alt bracket with the DC Power 370 XP and put it on. Every once in a great, great while if I did something just right the belt would squeal very briefly (belt felt tight as hell). I put the stock alt back into the stock place, with the bigger pulley than the Mechman (slightly). The belt NEVER squeals now. The DC Power kit assumed the stock alt was in the factory position with the slightly larger pulley thus making the belt tight as fuck. My tensioner is good. RiottStarr
Found it. Gates Belt is the #K060923. That belt is 3/4" shorter than stock. Does that answer your question?
