Yeah, stock electrical setup should be able to handle that just fine.

I'd recommend one of these amps:

If you go with Hifonics, i'd recommend sticking to their Brutus Elite line or Mt Olympus line.

I wouldn't go with that Hifonics. Had a Brutus amp, don't get me wrong it wasn't bad for the money, but power hungry and didn't do rated. If I was you I would just "Keep it in the family" and go with a Rockford Prime 1200.. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_34764_Rockford-Fosgate-R1200-1D.html

First of all if you got the sub new the I'm assuming its the black dust cover and not silver.

This means its a 1200rms sub. Which I have given them more then rated so have several others with out issues.

Now for amps, given your stock electrical you need something efficient.

So I would suggest the Rockford prime 1200.1. Cheaper, efficient, and powerful. Can be found for under $300 as well.

singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

Yeah, forgot about those. Always nice when you can keep things uniform. That RF Prime is a good amp.
