JP-12
Screwed up on the pics cuz my cameras crap... But for my first time detailing, it looks damn good! Lmao took me 3.5 hours from start to finish and was a lot more work than I thought.. Now I understand why it's not cheap to go get it done somewhere! I just gotta be careful with all the plastic trim, heard it fades the black if you get polish and/or wax on them.. Or is that not true?

Most of the time when i do a FULL detail it takes 2 days, but awesome man! Glad you saw how much work it is detailing! an yes that is true, I've done it myself. If you do touch plastic trim don't be too worried. What works for me personally is taking something called Grease Lighting to the area that has faded. Just spray it on an whip off. But thats just something that works for me personally, I'm sure there are better ways of fixing it.To avoid touching the trim at all though, just tape it up with blue painters tape or something similar. JP-12
Yeah the 3.5 hours wasn't even me taking my time, I had to go to work so I was rushing which wasn't a good idea. The next time I do it I want to take my time and make sure it's all done to the best I can get it. But for now it's good(;
JP-12
are you polishing the cat? They're the best for the pre wash. Didn't you know? Nice fluffy coat leaves no scratches on the paint.
kingsuv
Come practice on my trucks. Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
