yurvalentine
Whats the best way to set this up, wire it, and what amp. I have two Rockford Fosgate Punch 3 DVC 4ohm 600W I need an amp and wiring suggestion. Probably looking for 1ohm 600w rms per sub, you'll probably want 1200 @1 ohm. So how much do you want to spend? SQL50
If matching brands and series, a p1000x1bd. A r1200-1d for budget. I would say a t1000bdcp but that's pretty costly but an awesome amp. But that's if you wanted to match brands, there's a bunch of amps out there that'd work for em. SQL50
4 gauge would run the r1200 and p1000 just fine, t1000 I would do 1/0.

Really curious as to why you would say 4 gauge is alright for a 1200 watt rms amp, but not for a 1000 watt rms amp considering the fact that they're both underrated. Especially since even the T1500-bdcp doesn't require 1/0. 2007 Ford F-150 Reg. Cab. SQL50
If you look at the rockford wire calculator they say 4 gauge will get you up to 1500 rms, t1000 birthsheets have gone over that mark.. not by much but still.. that's why I recommended 1/0 wiring to let the amp do the most it could possibly do, if the electrical will support it.
