I mean if its loud and sounds good, im all for it. I hate when i sit in someones car and its nothing but audible distortion from the subs. Audible distortion is the shit brah. That's the only way I know you're loud. (i should say i have nothing against kids that own kickers and enjoy bass, not everyone can afford some of the systems we have.shit i couldn't for along time) when i worked at my last job there was this kid Mike with a fagged out civic. he had the "loudest" system there. someone Told him i had a loud system. he came to me and and started talking shit. the things he was saying were so funny and far fetched. like it would loosen his lug nuts... all that shit. we finally go on break and i have him pop his hood, yup 8g power wire! i bust out laughing and say hey man my speaker wire is that size. he said that it was some really expensive that could Cary 5000w. (right...) anyway some more bull came out of his mouth then the demo. at volume 18 his system was full Tilt. you could barely hear the words and the blown mids were really the only vocal you could here. he gave me a head nod like "yea what you got" as he pointed at the change in his cup Holder moving around. he had a lanzar "3000w amp" and some mtx subs that were crispy as fuck! finally my turn, showed him my hood, and explained what it takes to power a real system. got in put on A Milli turned it to 43 (which he thought was impossible) the bass dropped he jumped, put his head down started shaking his head eyes squinted, Then started to put his hands over his ears. i turned it down and said "yea i know it's not as loud as yours but i like it" he actually admitted mine was louder, which is rare for a kicker kid. however i wish i never gave him that demo. from then on all he wanted was for me to make him louder, find him new gear, fix his mistakes. he wanted to be loud but wouldn't spend the money where you needed it. jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

He told me he had 2 10 or 12s in a center console box in his reg cab Silverado. I asked for a demo, he was really intimidated by my setup and said I wouldn't like it since his isn't that loud. I told him I give demos to people that are louder than me all the time, it's about the vehicle as a whole and all the work that only a basshead can appreciate not a dick-measuring contest. So I convinced him to give me a demo. He started playing a song, sounded decent, good SQ and nice flex....then it got interesting.
