RollinSoLow Posted March 28, 2008 Report Share Posted March 28, 2008 ok here is the deal i have an old school 73 vw super beetle that im currently redoing from scratch the whole nine even the dash my question is whats the best 8in sub that will work best with a mmats 1400.1 non modifed i would have done a wall but being the case that the biggest alternator i can get is only 100 amp and the 2nd its a 50/50 split rag top so im just going to get some 8 in the rear i thought i would go with the jl 8w7 but im not to keen on the w7 series but then again i might just have to at this time grant it i have a 12 juggernaut too but i need at least 2.5cubic for optimal performance my current equipment is that im going to install 1 sq4070 mmats 4 channel amp 1 dhc 1400.1 sub amp 1 alpine cda 9835 source unit 1 alpive dva 5205 dvd player 1 alpine tme 790 f1 screen 3 way mbquarts 8 midbass 5 1/4 mids and 1inch tweets Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
