ZachTaylor Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 Hello! I have a 1998 Jeep Cherokee 4.0, and the audio system is a complete mess of spliced wires that run god knows where. My main question is: Where do I start? I want to run new wires from all of the panels to the factory amplifier, then a new wire bundle to attach to a wiring harness of a headunit. I pretty much want to bring this thing BACK to stock condition, so I can sell the jeep.

REH Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 Aftermarket headunit? If so... and you're just trying to make it "Neat" to sell it... Why not just do a bypass on the factory amp and run new wires to each speaker/pull the garbage wiring? I don't think the infinity setup is really anything that would justify a huge pita to save vs just using headunit power to sell.

So I could run the wires directly from the headunit to the speakers? Just two front and two rear.
