12voltz+- Posted March 30, 2008 Report Share Posted March 30, 2008 (edited) about the only advantage I see with the orion HCCA is the 4" VC. that might be why they are surviving better. all the other subs they tested have 3" VC's the mt 9500 has a 4'' coil, but all company have these stupid little tests and some how each company says there subwoofer comes out on top even tho there all testing the same subwoofers ..... all marketing ..... crop cling the hell out of the other drivers ect ect ect lol also taking a closer look you can see the subs the failed do to mechanical reasons and thermals reasons, only ones that failed do to thermals was the orion and the cerwin vega what would you rather have sun failed do to putting power to it or having a sub failed due to may be a tensile lead popping off or something?
