Love that motor structure! You can see here how the paint sunk into the grain of the wood as the days progressed. My new box I will be doing soon for two 15's will be a smoother finished wood, to avoid this problem. I know, this isn't at all necessary but I like doing it, gives me a sense of just how much I'm putting where. Here are a few sketch's done with the paint program of the electrical system/wiring/amps and the new sub box. This is the plan for the finished product, sometime by late March next year. Didn't include my subs and mid/highs in this sketch, will do them down the road with a new sketch. Also, I am undecided what amp/amps I am going to run at this moment, only knowing that I am leaning towards two, 1200W's strapped @2ohms. Top is the outline of the new box, 8.5 cube, two, 6" adjustable ports 32-45Hz. Middle is a simulated model of what it will look like when finished. Bottom is my electrical system put into view, hopefully enough for the 3k I hope to achieve out of these new amps! Lighter colored wire represents that it's hidden under the amp rack.
