redwolf2 Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 says right on their website does it not?
evermaxx Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Wrong section too. Team Subsonic Lows Get your garbage EMF products of my amp bitch Man....it makes a nice work bench
RainStryke Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 What amplifier do you have or plan on having power these subs? Yes, they do require quite a bit of space. I have mine in a 5FT^3 box and the port is tuned to 30.5Hz, so it leaves my subs around 2.6FT^3 net space. I'm really happy with the way it sounds on only 1200w or so and know it would be a lot louder with about 2400w... since I was throwing about 1800w at one and it was slammin' in 2.5FT^3 box that was tuned to 34Hz. I highly recommend tuning around 30Hz if you run ported. These subs are also supposed to be pretty good in a sealed box as well.
Deuces Posted October 21, 2014 Author Report Posted October 21, 2014 sorry this is in the wrong section im not very good with the forum yet lol and im not sure if it says on the site I looked but knowing me I overlooked it like I do about everything and as for the amp im not 100% sure I like hifonics and I found an x2600.1d that puts out 2600 watts at 1 ohm but I know a good amount of people say they don't put out the power they say they do so if one isint enough two will be lol and yeah ill tune low 30's again I worked on a box for my infinities that was tuned to around 33 but im selling that entire system to a kid at my old school so I figured it was time to upgrade lol

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

It's quite a bit cheaper than their flagship which is the Hifonics Atlas and they only want half the price for something they claim is within 400w of their best. I have a feeling their marketing department is just going to run the company into the ground pretty soon. It's about the same price as the SoundQubed 1200.1D. I'd suggest getting one of those, then a second one later... Unless you can swing the cost of a SoundQubed 2200.1D. Here is another amplifier that is pretty decent: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_40252_NVX-JAD1200.1.html It's currently on sale at 10% off if you use RED10 for the promo code.
Deuces Posted October 22, 2014 Author Report Posted October 22, 2014 I mostlikely wouldn't have to buy a second amp... ive used hifonics amps quite a lot and im not saying their the best but they aren't junk, I haven't heard much on this amp but based off what ive used from hifonics im sure its good. and didn't steve himself even test a hifonics amp and the results came out good?

It failed 2 of 3 test, would you get a passing grade with a 33% on a test at school?
