Ok, thank you guys for helping, slowly learning all this. For the terminals on the inside should I soder the wire to it? (Not soldering on the sub lol) also should I soder my wires when I crimp them like my power wires?

@Rain I just grabbed the old wire I had that was in my room (due to making sure they still worked cause my old pos amp was smoking on me haha) I'll be making the wires as short as possible, also what's the best length for a ground? Shorter the better?

Yes I would solder them to the terminals Inside the box.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

Soldering is the best, but proper crimping works too.

For a ground it's all about the contact more than the length. Make sure your ground has a lot of contact to as much metal as possible... Make sure to sand/grind whatever surface down as much as possible. Here is a good video on it:

Quick question, How should i wire up my 2 SVC @ 4Ohms (Kenwood kfc w3013ps) to my amp?(Hifonics brx 1400.1d) They can each take up to 400 rms a piece. Ill post a picture of the amp, just need a decent wiring diagram

  • RMS Power Rating:
    • 4 ohms: 550 watts x 1 chan.
    • 2 ohms: 900 watts x 1 chan.
    • 1 ohm: 1400 watts x 1 chan.
    • 4/2 or Mono channel operation

Like this http://imgur.com/PyytqKn then is it ok if i use a Digital multi-meter to set my gains?

Looks right, pos to pos, neg to neg on the subs then to amp...you need oscope or DD1 to properly set your gains, use the map tool to see if anyone around you has one...
