Now it's playing time with the dsp.

I need to learn about time alignement.

But I'm really amazed by the very little power I use for the front stage. My Incriminator amplifier is rated at 4 x 65 w @ 4 Ohms.

And my set of mids is an 8 Ohms set. I don't know how much they get with that amp, but they're loud (enough for me).

My focal comp set was playing with the same amp bridged : 2 x 225 w @ 4 Ohms. I don't think it was louder.

I guess the passive filters were blocking a lot of this power, for years !

I set all the gain on my amps, and I am VEEEERYYYY happy with the results.

Thank you Mr.

I need to make it cleaner.

I'm waiting on the last unit. I like all my equipments hidden. I want to keep a stock look.

  • 3 months later...

I received my DC isolator. I put it just under the head unit, hidden, but still in the original packaging, so it shouldn't touch anything.

I can use my usb device finally.

I love this system so far.

The SEAS mids are sounding better and better. Someday I will buy a bigger amp for those mids and highs.

I'll take some new pics. I can't find any of the box in the cargo area.

I took the passive filters out. So now it's a totally active system.

I can't find enough time to "play" with the mini-dsp.

Nice! I'd have to go with a smaller box myself, but very nice!

I have a double baffle, with a third one for the flush mount. I know it's a lot. I could have used a single baffle with way more internal bracings.

That can make a really smaller box with the same net volume.

I know I could have been to 3.5-3.25 ft3 net.

There is a stock false floor. If you take it out, you can have another shape for the box and keep more cargo space, with enough volume for the sub.

Hey, what interface did you go with for your Pioneer head unit? I could not find one besides the Radio pro for Mazda by Pac. It works great for me but I know you mentioned another one you used.

Also nice amps! I didn't notice you ran IA too. I have an IA10.1 in my Mazda and they are awesome amps!
