AstoSoup
Pass through are nothing more then a built in y adapter. So in essence, there is no such thing as a TRUE 4ch. output on an amp? If a pass through is just a Y adapter, only the first amp will balance/fade, not the second. Head Unit - Clarion VX709 7" DVD Touchscreen Mid/Highs - Front Doors - RF Prime 6.5" component mids. A. alaskanzx5
A 4ch amp with pass through would have 4 inputs 2 outputs. 00 front right and left 00 rear right and left 00 pass through right and left. So Eq 00 front out put to highs 00 rear out to 2 y adapters (1 male to 2 female) turning that output into a Left side 0 --> 00 Right side 0 --> 00 So now the rear output has been altered to where it has 2 left and 2 right outputs. Use one set of rear out puts to the mid range Use the other set of out puts to mid bass Use the third output on the amp 00 for Sub(s) Or Eq 00 front 00 rear 00 sub Fro t to highs Rear to midrange pass through from midrange to midbass Sub to sub. Either way the fade effect will only work as I turns the highs down and the kids up when faded to the rear or vice versa the other way around. Left and right speaker separation would still exist. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. First option seems the most logical... You got into that way more than I was about to, props lol. Head Unit - Clarion VX709 7" DVD Touchscreen Mid/Highs - Front Doors - RF Prime 6.5" component mids.
