its been heated...

you can see some bubbles in the bend.......

ive done a hell load of plex bending :)

Oh yeah, I can see that now that you pointed it out (*and much easier to see now that I'm not on my phone). Looks like I need to head back up to the store soon. I have some other ideas for plexi too. Never worked with it before but I'll just heat it conservatively as I go.

Not sure if I'm still gonna do the plexi window for the rear view mirror though....I'm getting used to not having a rear window.

The company I work for is remodeling their store and they had some they were going to thrpw away so I kept some. I just made this real quick as an idea. I just took a torch to it and bent it. This isn't a final piece just an idea seeing if it would work

I originally was trying to figure something out with a wood block but decided against it for that exact reason.....my engine bay gets pretty damn hot......I don't really want to throw kindling into the mix. lol

I got the test piece in there now just to see if the plexi is going to hold up to the heat in there. hopefully it works so I can make my real peice
