Any size sub is good for rap as long as the above stated conditions are met. It depends on you and your budget/preferance in speakers. David Posted March 30, 2008 Report Posted March 30, 2008 after listening to meades hoe and the honda, and the hoopty, I have no doubt in my mind that the theory of larger woofers being slow or sloppy is PURE MYTH. and my experience with my own 15's and redbaron80's MT/Fi hybrids are the same as meades 18's not sloppy at all and pound teh rock music just as well as 10's 12's or 8's maybee better! you have to witness some rock n roll in the hoe, metalica just gets fuckin down, no other way to put it. next time I get over to Steve's house I'll see about doing a rock video, its amazing really.
