Thanks everyone!

The Jeep is stripped for stereo. Going to get the wall finish, and sealed off properly. Re-do some wiring, more bracing etc.

I have also "copied" the frontstage, so there will be new door panels :D

And a little offtopic, the diesel engine is horrible slow and in bad condition. So I will soon convert to gas, and swap in a 4.0l engine. Got my donor car ready :)

Time to continue this project after sitting for way too long..

Stripped the interior again. Original sound deadener and carpet have been like a sponge and there was alot of water on the floor.. and top layer of "foam deadener" that I used also sucked water so had to remove it.

Started to sand inside of the box. I liked the color I had, but trying a new look this year.

And the 4.0l is out of the donor car and ready for a overhaul :)

A picture of my nice work shop. Good ventilation, good lights parts of the day and modern power tools..

Filled all the screw holes, and painted 2 layers with fiberglass resin inside the box. And started to seal off the wall. Used birch wood, sealant/glue and screwed it to the body, and the wall. Then some woven fiberglass mat and resin. There will be more layers some places, then bondo glass. Some expanding foam on the back, and then paint.

Ah, my bad.. Its a steel tube that I welded a plate to in the end, drilled holes in the plate and screwed it to the baffle on each side, and a threaded rod inside with nuts that push outwards to the baffle. Very easy to make and works good. I can take more photos of it
