kindofanoob Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 Can a monoblock run 2 subwoofers? And if so, will it split the wattage or give the full watts to each sub?
Noel989 Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 Yes And it splits the power between the subs Example if you have an amp that does 1000 watts You'll want to get 1 sub that's rated at ~1000 watts, or if getting 2 you'll look for ~500 watt sub Build Log - http://www.stevemead...-cruiser-el-pt/

mcfalcon Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 Yes it can run multiple subs. Yes it will split the wattage. You need to look into wiring diagrams to find ohm loads and also you need to know what ohm your amp is stable at. Still learning but have started gathering.
Kyblack76 Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 If the impedance is in the rating of the amp, it can run multiples yes. Output is divided by the amount of drivers. SMD SUPER SELLER The Burban Build Blazer Build sold Acura trunk build sold
kindofanoob Posted November 8, 2014 Author Report Posted November 8, 2014 any suggestions to match up with two nvx vsws? rms is 500 watts each - haven't bought anything yet but - i am trying to stay under 1000 watts to avoid changing alternator - will probably still upgrade to big 3 though. this is an entry level system
mcfalcon Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 Lots. But lets talk about your price range first bud. Still learning but have started gathering.
