EyeMKermie Posted June 9, 2015 Report Share Posted June 9, 2015 Bumping an old thread But if anyone is looking into NVX, I have their v series 5.25 components and 6.25 components in my car and I find them to be more than adequate. With the tweets set to 0db on the passive crossovers and high pass at 100Hz, vocals are clear and highs are bright and very present. I find the mids to be tight and punchy. They do lack umph down low, but if your using a sub that won't matter. I usually test my components with a mix of Jazz, indie (James blake, Kimbra, Peter and Kerry, Chet Faker, Etc), and guitar heavy stuff (mostly spanish guitar).
