alaskanzx5 Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 Well for starters since your cd player I going out lets get that taking care off. What kind of features would you like? Highs Mids Lows Sound quality Spl Bluetooth stereo, I want sound quality with some bass, it's just a daily driver. And due to space issues I have to run some type of shallow box of some sort in the trunk. I was looking at this box right here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/PONTIAC-FIREBIRD-TRANS-AM-1993-02-12-PORTED-GREY-SUBWOOFER-SUB-ENCLOSURE-BOX-/271615426761?pt=US_Speaker_Sub_Enclosures&hash=item3f3d8a80c9&vxp=mtr

Above is a link for them with Bluetooth. Search through them. I personally have the 80prs, great deck with an awesome sound. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
Broke_Audio_Addict Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 Was just talking about this in the droppinhz thread earlier. Since it seems to come up a lot what about a budget build all in one kit at or under $2k. Like 2 subs, a monoblock, a 4 channel, mid's and high's, and all required wiring and fuse's. I think you would draw in a lot of customers who have no clue how to piece a system together or what all they need to buy to install it by doing the thinking for them.Edit- maybe even have options to add on an alt or Batts or upgrade to better subs and amps or mid and highs. Regular price before I figure in any discount. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
alaskanzx5 Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 As for that box I don't see any listed specs, doesn't mention material used wood thickness, port size, port length, gross volume or anything. You would be better off measuring you max dimension and post a thread in the sub/box category asking fir suggestions. Before doing that you should pick out a deck. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

Broke_Audio_Addict Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 Well seems like he was planning to offer a discount on the package deal. I'd call them up I'm sure they could work with your budget and space requirements. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
