Kinda, but I know there is a limit. I helped a friend build a box for 2 15s that was too small but he insisted it had to fit a certain way in his trunk. It was never as loud as it should have been so I definitely want to avoid that. After re-measuring everything last night I have at least 15 cubes gross, but only 41" wide at the base, 32" wide at the headliner and 33" tall, so 4 15s would barely fit on the front plate let alone leave any room for a port. 3 18s would be a similarly too tight fit for my liking. So now I think it is down to 2 18s. That leaves more room for batteries and an amp rack too. I am liking the Zv3s. Now I have a little more space to work with my options have opened up a little. 2 18s that can handle 2k+ RMS for around $400 and do well in 5-6 cubes ported is the new idea. DC Level 4s?
hdorre Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 My 2 Level 4 10s LAUGHED at 3500wrms to the pair. One install was 2.1 cubes, 4" aero, tuned to 32-33 on an Ampere 3800Dv1 at 1ohm. Second install was 2.1 Cubes, 2 3" aeros, tuned to 35ish on a Populus 3500 at 1 ohm First box was much better for what i play. Subs were "stock" too. Ampere vids.. Populus Vid.. But yea.. Id run 2k to lvl 4s.. On sale now at SonicElectronix $380 shipped. Anyone have experience with Skar? Think these could handle 2000 or 2400 instead of the rated 1500 RMS? thats not a bad price for the skar alot of people say skar and sundown are so alike it should be illegal so go for it

Revdoc Posted November 28, 2014 Author Report Posted November 28, 2014 Scored some hardware last night after midnight with the BF discounts. 2 PSi Platform 2 18s with all the options and a Q3500.1 amp. I'm getting some lumber today and starting on the box, build thread soon to come.
