Think I Received wrong Sundown

I brought me one X-12 Sundown (and scv1500 amp) about 3 Weeks ago from local dealer. He said it was 2 ohm dvc & I finally got chance to mount it in my truck. After playing it for a while I decided to get my multi meter and check ohms (wanted 1 ohm), meter kept showing 2-2.3. So now I pull sub out box & check each coil, reading from 3.4-4.3 ohms. I think I may have received a dvc 4 ohm, will call dealer and see if he will swap if it is a dvc 4 ohm instead of dvc 2.

That would be my luck to get something I didn't want. Now if they do swap me, they will have to order it because I brought the only one left in store.

Just took sub to dealer and his meter is reading 2.8-3.2 and he is saying its a dual 2. Or is this a case whether either one of us could be right.

I don't know shit about sundown. It would help if you show pics of the sub. I got a feeling you got a used one.

Did the check the resistance by touching the probes of the meter together?
