Miguels
Springfield Speaker Repair should have OEM cones, coils and spider packs for those HX2 subs. 150 for a recone for those is absurd. Realistically cost of parts is maybe 50$, call it 80 or 90 on the high side if you have the rare OEM parts. Talk about a huge profit margin.fixmyspeaker is giving him a better recone kit and its drop in. he dont have to do much work plus i think it takes more power with Davids recones Fixmyspeaker's price was for the rebuild to check what cone are the other guys are offering.. fixmyspeaker used HD pulp cones that are for high excursion and high output subwoofers. the other could be using paper cones. also ask about the lead wire, and spiders. the other company might only use one lead and david might be giving you 2 leads my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
