That being said if money was not an option then what are the best head units? Also if anyone that goes to competitions, what head units are the people winning with? So far I have seen the following mentioned for SQ head units. Alpine F1 Status CDA 7990R Rockford Fosgate RFX-8250TI Pioneer DEX-P99RS McIntosh MX-5000 Alpine CDA-9887 Clarion Cz702 Pioneer 80PRS Denon DCT-Z1 Panasonic CQ TX5500W Nakamichi CD-700 has anyone had the privilege of hearing more then one of these listed above? your thoughts also should keep in mind that there would be two categories sq head units that can run active and sq head units that do not run active. OrionStang Posted December 1, 2014 Report Share Posted December 1, 2014 Any of those above 4-way active capable? Besides the p99rs? I've only heard the 80prs and Alpine 9887.
