Would it be a waste of wood to take the T-Line I have now and block off half the port?

Assuming I get it smoothed correctly.

Or just build a new one.

I can't believe I forgot what BR stood for.

I kinda figured what the smaller port was for and your post confirmed it.

The smaller port allows the sub something to "play off of", essentially, a limiter while still retaining the T-Line characteristics.

Is there an exact formula for making the port or do you make it 1/2 SD?

u got it! check your messages dude.

passive crossover changes the order. 4th to 5th etc...

2nd order = sealed box

4th order= ported box

4th order bandpass = sealed box 2nd order + 2nd order ported chamber = 4th order

6th order bandpass =ported box 4th order + 2nd order ported chamber= 6th order

7th and 8th order are additional passive crossovers as Proffesa said!!

The Escort is a Six order series tunned bandpass total volume will be bout 60 cuft with a wide Q!! will pst more pics this weekend

The uk,s first 170db
