Joe X Posted December 21, 2014 Report Posted December 21, 2014 Box needs to be larger for two of those, you can do sealed but kicker won't work very nice on sealed.
tazzytaz8869 Posted December 21, 2014 Author Report Posted December 21, 2014 what would be the smallest i can go for a ported i do have little more room but not sure box will slide in trunk but i can always just build it in the trunk lol
redwolf2 Posted December 21, 2014 Report Posted December 21, 2014 what would be the smallest i can go for a ported i do have little more room but not sure box will slide in trunk but i can always just build it in the trunk lol You can always fold the back seats down to get it in (there's a way to do that, family member use to have one)
tazzytaz8869 Posted December 22, 2014 Author Report Posted December 22, 2014 yeah i thought of that to but that opening is smaller then the trunk open area
redwolf2 Posted December 22, 2014 Report Posted December 22, 2014 Ah I see. Well it would help with building the box in place anyways.

notorious97200 Posted December 22, 2014 Report Posted December 22, 2014 Go sealed, and make the biggest box you can afford in that car. The L7s are not so bad in huge sealed boxes. They do get down like that. I sold a L7 to my installer, he put it in a 6ft3 sealed box : that was amazing ! It sounded much better and louder than in my 3 ft3 ported (@ 33 Hz) box. We never tried to overpower the sub : 1000 to 1200 w amps only, nothing more. black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats. 2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a sealed box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.
