reedal
Four speakers, four speaker outs on the amp.... Positive goes into positive and negative goes into negative.. Is there a problem with connecting it like that or something? Mauro376455
Thats what i was thinking of doing but i just wanted to be sure I kept thinking they could be wired them different, like subs because i seen this diagram and it shows a totally different way to wire the speakers. http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurationsm.asp?Q=4&I=41 theres the diagram i was talking about. islandpride684
you can wire them in many ways, depending on the impedance you want your amp to see... Aj11
don't make it harder then it has to be. each speaker to each amp input. then set gain and eq accordingly jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out)
Mauro376455
Ok lets do it like this since theres 4 channels and there 4 6.5's(4ohm) just wire each speaker to a channel positive n positve n negative to negative ?! Or how would you guys connect them so they receive around 75-100 rms each?
ealvar
Ok lets do it like this since theres 4 channels and there 4 6.5's(4ohm) just wire each speaker to a channel positive n positve n negative to negative ?! Or how would you guys connect them so they receive around 75-100 rms each? The EA series isn't stable at 2 ohm bridged, which really limits your options to just running a single channel to each 6.5" as you described above. The only other stable option would be to run bridged @ 8 ohm x 2 channels, but that's going to give you 45 watts per speaker @ 12.8v. If it were me I'd run the front doors off of 2 bridged channels for 150x2 @ 4ohm and run the rear doors off of the HU for rear fill (just fade them as to prevent distortion/clipping since they'll obviously never keep up with the fronts). Or just run all 4 of them @ 45x4 and see how they sound. What are you running for tweeters?
