afrakes
You only have 12" of port for 2x12s? Not enough. I'd double it. Maybe more, unless u want an extremely peaky box. Triticum Agricolam
You need more port area, 36 sq in is not enough regardless if they are aero ports or not. Cj Kumz
I think the lowest I would go is a single 6" port per sub and that's on the lower side. Around 33 sq inches of port area should be ok per sub Vw Polo Pioneer Deh-6050UB Sundown Saz-3500d DD Audio 9500 15'' 5.5 cubic feet box with 10 inch port @ 38hz I live to hear the Bass drop!!! KenSchoen
I thought required port area was based on box size rather than the sub?
CleanSierra
I thought required port area was based on box size rather than the sub? Nope, it's based on Xmax, desired tuning frequency and cone area. Port area has nothing to do with box size. 2 12s in a 4 cube box need the same amount of port AREA, as 2 12s in a 5 cube box. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
