still got my whole trunk and a banging highs system that sounds amazing thus far. 1200 watts on all the highs. 3 amps (JL, ARC, and stock amp running rear stage)

next step, mounting the drc

most people put them in the cigarette tray. i was convinced it was the best spot.

i relocated the climate control unit

so i wasnt planning on lowering the car,

but damn michigan pot holes and salt got the best of this mount. other side is fine so idk why this happened but it did. luckily my rim and tire are in perfect condition so idk what happened.

well anyway. in additon to this crack the spring broke as well. so if i replace one spring, you have to replace the other side to match. thus here I am lowering the car since im buying parts anyway and doing the labor.

when you do springs, you gotta do a whole suspension rehaul cause the springs arent the only component. shorter springs need a shorter range of motion strut to match and the camber need to be adjusted and then toe needs to be adjusted. mercedes only made toe adjustable on these cars so i needed to find solutions to fix my camber.

mercedes later released bolts for front control arms that can change camber by .5 degrees, so from what I have seen, that should be enough for the drop i wnat.

in the rear, i decided to make my own camber bars. the toe is adjustable. so it should work out well.

decided to go bilstein sport shocks which si mercedes OEM supplier, and also went with Vogtland springs since they are a very compliant ride and failry comfortable yet firm when i get into a little spirited driving. I shall see. i hope all my research payed off.

thanks man depending how many channels you need the bit10 d is probably a close second, it actually accepts a higher sample rate too and is slightly cheaper.

i got it for a steal and its in mint conditoin, except DRC, but even if i bought a new drc its still an insane price and i gotta say i love this DSP. it makes even mp3 sound great!!

Yessir, I am very familiar with the bit 10 as well! It's something I considered, but right now I'm too scared to go active, I don't have enough experience in that department. Granted I do have experience with crossovers, slopes and eq (I freelance audio engineer) is just things like seeing the right gains on my tweets that scare me because those hertz tweets aren't cheap lol
