Box specs for an older 18" XXX

There's no specs on the older XXX 18's now that US Amps took over, so I was wondering what size box would work best for daily driving on about 2000 watts for this sub.  I was thinking 7 cubes tuned to around 34hz, but someone told me that he had his in 6 cubes.

Will 6 cubes really work well, because I'm working with a tight space, and it's a lot easier to get 6 than 7, but I can do 7 if it'll be a huge difference in output, or is there a different size I should be looking at.  This is my first build for a big woofer, I'm used to doing a few small woofers instead. 

And how much power do you think that XXX will hold daily with a fresh recone?

I agree^^ That was almost the exact box I had for my 18SX...mine was 6.5^3ft tuned to 32hz with four 4" aero ports..I'd suggest the same to you...something similar to this..

I was actually going to use 2 6" aero's for this one.  This is going to be a fun build.  Lots of cutting, building in the car and fiberglass.

6.5 to 33hz it is....Now I've just gotta fit it in there.
