i am planning on building a box for 2 12 subs. I am going to have to look for some subs that are not to much. but i was wondering if it is possible to make the vents in the shape of a cross.

For SPL it's a bit of a no-no as you want your port to be as free-flowing as possible.

For a street-beater, it shouldn't be an issue. Just make sure there's enough port that you don't get port noise.

x2, you might not get as good a score from it, or even a bit of noise if you aren't careful, but other than that no reason not to. Could look really pimp
