basscherokee Posted December 31, 2014 Report Posted December 31, 2014 i know it recommends strapping at 2 ohms but has anyone had any success strapping at 1 ohm? i have the electrical to back it up but is this safe? 2001 vw gti 2 hds212s 4.75 net tuned to 34hz audioque1200 wired to 1 ohm nvx 0 gauge to the back kinetic khc 2000 kenwood deck

If you have to ask then no...electrical will not protect your amps from failing under those conditions...try it if you are still curious and let us know how it goes...
